Stoneleigh House is an attractive Victorian home situated in a lively and friendly heart of Oldbury, West Midlands. The home is 10 minutes away from Dudley Zoo. It is close to all of the local amenities & services including nearby shops, a train station, frequent bus services to Oldbury and Birmingham city centre, Barnford Park and many more.
Stoneleigh House provides quality support to young adults on transition from children services to adult service with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Sensory based needs and Challenging Behavior. We support individuals who are experiencing high anxiety due to their complex Autistic needs.
Our person-centred transitional care model supports our key philosophy by ensuring those with complex Autistic needs or individual’s with non-verbal communication are supported to make choices and decisions using methods that suit them i.e. pictorial card and other communication aids.
We have a well experienced and knowledgeable team who understand each resident’s needs and anxieties. The care plans and assessments are unique and tailored to each individuals’ needs in order reduce and ease the anxieties while promoting optimistic and elevating lifestyle. Our Staff and resident relationships are developed through a key and co- worker approach. To ensure each day is meaningful for everyone together.

Life at Stoneleigh House
Our home is bursting with vibrant energy! Our residents are young and fun who enjoy outdoor activities from swimming to camping. Our staff and residents’ at Stoneleigh make each day not only lively but inspiring. We have excellent links with the local community. Our residents enjoy organise fundraising events for charity’s.
Our team strives to promote and maintain our residents’ dignity, choice and respect. We aim to celebrate independence and outcomes.
Each member of our staff has sound knowledge and understanding of each resident to ensure the home is enjoyable and caring to live and work in.

Specialist Residential Care
Our residential care are specialist services for young adults with Learning Disabilities complex needs and that require specialist care. Our small homes have occupancy up to 4 people with a high staff ratio. We work collaboratively with local health and social care teams to provide step down from supported living services
Our residential homes are suited for those who need to learn life and key skills in order to be able to live independently. For example, those who might need regular support with personal and social development, personal care, and other daily living activities.
Our residential services provide care teams who are tailored to meet peoples residential care and complex needs. These include gardening, baking, outings, gentle exercise, voluntary work and life-skills work. Other specialist activities such as, music therapy, sensory room, hydro-pool and aroma-therapy therapies.
Our specialist services work collaboratively with the local health and social care community in order to deliver outcome-focused, responsive, caring, safe and well-led care using clear pathways to deliver person-centred support.

This service gives you the opportunity to choose you when you want to receive the support. In Building and using independence is our core value. Short Term Care

EL Marsh offers short term placements for those who are looking for a short break from their usual routine. This could be for a friend, relative or yourself.
Short term placements gives the carer time to have a break, whilst knowing that your relative, friend or patient is in a safe and comfortable environment with quality and specialist care to meet their needs. Our service manager and staff will tailor a care plan which suits you including your likes and dislikes.
Short Term care is ideal for those looking for a temporary service either following a hospital stay or an illness.

Transition with EL Marsh Care
In health care, we use the term ‘transition’ to describe the process of planning, preparing and moving from children’s health care to adult health care. At EL Marsh Transition is a gradual process of change. This gradual change allows all those involved time to ensure that young person going through this change and their families are prepared to make the move to adult health care.
Majority move directly from children’s to adult services when they are aged between 17 and 18 years.
We want to make the transition as easy and smooth as possible for you and the family.
At EL Marsh we will allocate a member of staff who is responsible for tailoring a transition plan that suits you and your needs. The plan will include support and guidance for you and your family. The member of staff will support you throughout to ensure you ready to move to our adult service.
